Speed Traps and the hidden costs.
What is the point? Cops writing tickets for what. 90% of the traffic on the interstates speed. Most speeders are running with the flow of traffic. I have no problems with the nut jobs weaving in and out of traffic getting tickets, but when you are just pulling people out of the crowd how does that help? I believe most tickets are just a hidden tax on the public. Insurance companies support ticket writing departments so they can jack the rates on our auto insurance. It is amazing how much our government continues to impose these hidden costs on the people who keep this country strong, its workers!!!

Highway work zones
I have always wondered why most highway work is done during the day, usually between 8-5. This always slows down the traffic headed to and from work. As much money as it costs to repair our roads, would it not be more efficient to work around the clock? More money is wasted setting up the cones and barrels at the beginning and end of the day. Set up some lights and work around the clock.
